Orbit Advanced Technologies Inc. is seeking candidates to join our shielding installation team. This position involves the installation of bolted and welded steel panels and doors that, when complete, will provide radio frequency isolation inside a chamber for various wireless testing processes. Candidates will primarily work at project locations of our customers within the US in conjunction with our sub-contractors.

Personal Requirements
- US Citizenship
- Able to pass background checks
- Ability to lift heavy weight up to 80 lbs safely
- Comfortable working with and around heavy equipment such as forklifts, telehandlers, scissor lifts, and boom lifts
- Comfortable with working at elevations up to 80’
- Professional etiquette when communicating with on-site customers
- Critical thinker who is detail-oriented
- Mechanically inclined
- Ability to travel up to 95% of the time
- Ability to read and understand and implement architectural, structural, field, and shop drawings in both metric and imperial in the field
- Proficient in operating hand tools such as screwdrivers, hand saws, hammers, and other basic carpentry tools
- Proficient in operating power tools including impacts, drills, angle grinders, porta band saws, laser levels, and more
- Proficient in operating aerial lift platforms such as scissor lifts, boom lifts, and tower scaffolding (optional)
- Proficient in operating heavy-duty forklifts and telehandlers with a lift capacity of 10,000 lbs or more
- Basic knowledge of carpentry principles and techniques for the installation of steel panels and doors
- Basic knowledge of rigging techniques for the safe lifting and installation of heavy steel components
- Certified welder with experience in MIG and stick seal welding, non-structural
- OSHA 30 Certification
- Forklift Operator Certification
- Aerial Lift Certification
- Experience in rigging
- Knowledge and understanding of electrical drawings
