MVO Marketing is seeking an experienced ATLANTA-BASED Marketing Account Manager with a passion for teamwork and relationships. This candidate will play an important role on the agency team by working collaboratively with the account and creative teams to drive performance. Integral to the success of this position is the ability to be a team leader, strong communication and balancing task management with strategic thinking and execution. This position is Atlanta-based only with a hybrid model of in office and work from home hours. Industry verticals include real estate, hospitality, retail and IT / tech focused accounts.

Job Duties

Client / Account Management

  • Develop sound business relationships with clients, earning respect and building credibility for the agency, while managing client expectations and feedback.
  • Writing and formatting business development presentations / pitch decks.
  • Budget management, including billing, cost estimates, client approval, and revenue.
  • Vendor sourcing, management, and negotiation.
  • Attending and facilitating client meetings and marketing / creative proposals.
  • Manage projects, deadlines, budgets and production utilizing a project management software.
  • Active networking and seeking out business development opportunities.
  • Regular reporting in an intuitive manner for clients, especially those without marketing experience.

Integrated Marketing

  • Develop marketing campaigns, promotions, and events on various digital and traditional media platforms.
  • Manage the creative and production process, including briefs, brainstorms, and communicating client feedback to the creative team.
  • Stay informed of industry related news, trends and competitive landscapes within marketing and client industries.
  • Event coordination and event management (possibly some nights / weekends)
  • Digital Marketing

  • Develop and manage the digital marketing strategy across Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, Google and other social channels as appropriate for the client.
  • Strategize and execute paid social campaigns end-to-end fully in-house, without agency support – including Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, Analytics
  • Digital marketing strategy and execution

  • Analytics / Performance management
  • Write and manage the content calendar for all social media platforms.
  • Manage digital media performance using data and analytics to make improvements to the digital campaigns.
  • Manage email marketing campaigns
  • Recommend changes to creative, copy or strategy as performance and client strategy dictates.
  • Work collaborative across all stakeholders to drive results and client ROI. Stakeholders include, clients, account, creative, agency partners and vendors.
  • Our Ideal Candidate Has :

  • Agency / marketing experience (strongly preferred)
  • Bachelor’s degree and / or relevant marketing experience (3-5 years)
  • Exceptional teamwork and collaboration, working well in cross-functional teams to move projects forward, including constructive feedback.
  • Strong written and oral communication skills
  • Ability to make key decisions and complete day-to-day projects with minimal supervision
  • Expert knowledge using Microsoft Office applications, including Word, Excel and PowerPoint
  • Experience with various MarTech tools for website management, CRMs, and email platforms, including but not limited to : Hubspot, WordPress, MailChimp / Constant Contact, Buffer, Zapier
