The NC Department of Health and Human Services (DHHS) Project Management Office is seeking a short-term (approx. 12 month) IT Project Manager-Expert to lead the implementation of multiple web-based and / or low-code applications.

Desired Experience Project management experience, preferably with large, complex automation implementation efforts Required 10 Years Demonstrated Project Management experience on IT application / system development and deployments for multiple clients. Required 10 Years Proven track record of delivering projects and work streams with aggressive timelines and deliver within scope, budget and schedule. Required 10 Years Objective decision-making ability based on strategic objectives priority, business performance analysis and resource availability. Required 10 Years Hands on experience managing project risk, cost, schedule, quality, testing, and communications. Required 7 Years Experience implementing applications using Salesforce, MS Dynamics and / or ServiceNow. Required 3 Years Strong leadership, organizational, interpersonal and time management skills. Required Demonstrated oral and written communication and presentation skills. Required Solid work experience with project management tools including Microsoft Project and Project Server. Required 7 Years Experience with MS Office and Teams. Required 7 Years Demonstrated experience with Waterfall, Agile and Hybrid software development frameworks. Required 5 Years Demonstrated experience with vendor management on a medium or large IT project / system implementation. Required 8 Years Knowledge of healthcare systems with an emphasis on behavioral health, developmental disabilities and substance use. Highly desired 5 Years Extensive understanding of MS SharePoint end user experience, sites, libraries, lists and groups. Required 8 Years Cost / benefit analysis and market analysis.
