What are the responsibilities and job description for the Human Resources Generalist position at MVP Disc Sports?
MVP Disc Sports is a sporting goods company in Marlette, Michigan. We are a growing company with a mission to be the leading edge in technology and innovation in all areas of disc golf.
We are a wholesale supplier for disc golf stores around the world. We're looking to bring on an additional HR Generalist to assist us with our increased hiring needs and ongoing administration of our growing staff.
Some responsibilities of this position include:
- Conducting interviews for various positions and onboarding new hires
- Implementing training and updating employee records
- Maintaining employee records in electronic and paper form
- Serving as a point of contact for all employees regarding HR-related information (Payroll, Employee Forms and Requests, etc.)
- Ensuring compliance with labor regulations
- Other Miscellaneous Responsibilities
Preferred Skills and Experience
- Experience in HR
- Understanding of policies, procedures, employment/labor laws
- Excellent communication & people skills
- Knowledge of Google Applications (Sheets, Docs, etc.)
- Creating employee engagement opportunities

Pay: $24.00 - $26.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 per week
