Director of Nursing – Skilled Nursing & Rehab Center

MVP Recruitment is assisting a well-supported 120-bed Skilled Nursing and Rehab Center located just 15 minutes north of Hartford, CT, with the recruitment of a dedicated Director of Nursing (DON). This center offers a blend of traditional Long-term Care, a Sub-Acute unit, and a specialized Memory Care/Dementia unit.
Position Overview:
The Director of Nursing will play a crucial leadership role in overseeing the clinical operations of the facility. With the support of a strong nurse management team, the DON will collaborate closely with the Nursing Home Administrator to ensure residents receive top-quality care.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage all nursing operations within the center.
- Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to ensure compliance with care standards.
- Oversee staffing, quality improvement initiatives, and ensure regulatory compliance.
- Actively participate in creating a positive, patient-centered environment.
Qualifications:
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience as a Director of Nursing or Assistant Director of Nursing in a Skilled Nursing Facility.
- Strong leadership and communication skills, with a passion for delivering excellent care.
