An Immigration Attorney will possess the following qualities:

The following are the job functions for the successful candidate:
- Coordinating the application process, including evaluating applications to identify category qualifications, researching the processes and requirements for different types of applications
- Preparing submission packages for both basic and complex cases and submitting to various government agencies
- Provide timely, comprehensive, and strategic legal counsel related to both NIV and IV cases
- Review and draft US NIV and IV petitions, as well as responses to Requests for Evidence
- Business immigration services related to both NIV and IV matters, including but not limited to H-1B, L-1, TN, E-1/2, J-1, H-3, O-1, B-1, I-140, and I-485 applications
- Provide assistance with the client intake process and respond to both basic and complex client inquiries by e-mail and/or telephone to ensure that applications are processed and any obstacles are anticipated and dealt with
- Performing various administrative duties including, but not limited to organizing and managing files, tracking dates, inputting data into spreadsheets, photocopying/faxing submission packages
- Delegate, prioritize and review workflow, including, coordination of the application process, daily reviews, monthly planning, maintaining the “bring forward” system and file management
- Forecast internal and external issues to develop a plan of action for the senior team to approve
- Daily review of submission packages for both basic and complex cases to various government agencies
- Be the first point of contact for client-related escalations
- Effectively communicate with clients regarding procedural and case processing issues, identify client immigration solutions and understand current client activity
- Analyze, track and record all client-specific processes and procedures
- Participate in office-wide projects, including training and process improvement
- Stay up to date with developments in immigration law
- Understand existing fee agreements and established billing practices
- Other duties may be assigned as required
The right candidate will possess the following qualifications:
- Licensed to practice law in a US state.
Our merit-based compensation package includes salary and benefits. There is no expectation for the successful candidate to bring in new business.
