We are seeking a motivated and talented individual to join our team as a Cyber Security Analyst I. In this role, you will be responsible for assisting in the protection of our organization's information systems and digital assets from cyber threats.
Key Responsibilities:
- Monitor security systems and networks for potential security breaches or incidents.
- Assist in investigating and responding to security alerts, incidents, and vulnerabilities identified by security tools and other sources.
- Assist in researching and analyzing emerging threats and trends to develop proactive security measures.
- Assist in conducting vulnerability assessments and penetration tests on systems, applications, and networks.
- Help identify vulnerabilities and weaknesses in the organization's infrastructure and provide recommendations for remediation.
- Provide support for security operations, including user access management, log analysis, and security incident documentation. Assist in maintaining security policies, procedures, and standards.
- Assist in the deployment, configuration, and maintenance of security tools and technologies, such as firewalls, intrusion detection/prevention systems, antivirus software, and security information and event management (SIEM) solutions.
Qualifications:
- Associate’s degree in computer science or related field or 1-3 years working experience.
- Strong understanding of networking principles, operating systems, and information security fundamentals.
- Familiarity with common security technologies and tools, such as firewalls, intrusion detection/prevention systems, SIEM solutions, and vulnerability scanners.
- Basic knowledge of cybersecurity frameworks and standards, such as NIST Cybersecurity Framework or CIS Controls.
- Relevant certifications such as CompTIA Security , Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP), or Certified Ethical Hacker (CEH), are a plus.
