MW Components in Logansport, IN is looking for a Customer Service Representative to join our team!
Job Summary:
Establish and maintain customer relationship(s) and customer orders/releases. Responsible for processing orders, quotations, returns, credits, invoices, and other shipping documents. Facilitate billing, invoicing, and pack slip creation for in-house branded retail products. Performs varied and diverse office clerical duties.
JOB DUTIES:
- Be the voice of the customer.
- Manage customer purchase orders and releases.
- Maintain accurate customer backlog.
- Resolve customer conflict in a clear and professional manner.
- Clearly communicate updates to customers in a timely manner.
- Approve and process daily invoices and post to the general ledger.
- Process emergency orders.
- Effective working with cross functional teams to achieve goals and objectives.
- Process of credit card payments, issuing credit, and handling refunds for drop ship customers.
- Process the billing, invoicing, and coordinating of export information for drop ship and house account shipments.
- Review Purchase Orders to ensure accuracy with respect to the quote and deliver to Supply Chain team in a timely manner.
- Execute contract maintenance and inform customers of pricing contract changes.
- Assist in obtaining necessary information from the applicable system used for pricing and sales analysis, bid preparation, sales reporting, and special projects.
- Coordination with Quality to ensure customer requests for PPAP’s, ISIR’s, or special certifications and labeling.
- Other duties as assigned.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Bachelor’s degree in business, communications, or a related field and/or five (5) years of experience.
- 1-3 years of prior Customer Service experience preferred.
- A positive, professional attitude and a passion for helping others.
- Excellent written and communication skills with the ability to handle multiple daily telephone calls in a positive manner.
- Ability to develop and maintain positive relationship with dealers, customers, subsidiaries, U.S. divisions, and outside service companies (banks, transportation companies, freight forwarders).
- Proficient to excellent skills working in Windows environment, including Microsoft Office.
- Ability to analyze situations and resolve problems (i.e., consolidate shipments from various suppliers and ensure documentation for export is correct).
- Experience with data entry and using an ERP system.
- Thorough understanding of information ordering.
- Strong troubleshooting, analytical skills and material knowledge.
- A problem-solving mindset with strong attention to detail.
- Must be organized and have excellent prioritization skills.
- Ability to multi-task, meet deadlines, & work well in a fast-paced environment.
