lt;p>MW Partners is currently seeking a Electronics Repair Technician to work for our client who is a global leader in the aerospace defence and security markets.< / p>
Responsibilities and duties : < / b>< / p>
BGA Rework and Repair < / b>< / p>
Experience in reworking BGA components including disordering and soldering.< / li>
Ability to identify faulty BGA components and replace them. < / li> < / ul>
BGA Inspection < / b>< / p>
Skilled in visual inspection of BGA solder joints using magnification tools (e.g. microscopes xray equipment). < / li> < / ul>
Soldering Skills< / b>< / p>
Expertise in both hand soldering and machine soldering techniques.< / li>
Familiarity with leaded and leadfree soldering processes.< / li> < / ul>
Use of BGA Rework Stations< / b>< / p>
Proficiency in operating BGA rework stations (e.g. using hot air).< / li>
Knowledge of temperature profiling and managing reflow cycles.< / li> < / ul>
Experience with Xray Machines< / b>< / p>
Familiarity with Xray inspection of BGAs to check for hidden solder joint defects.< / li> < / ul>
Understanding of PCB Materials and Components< / b>< / p>
Knowledge of various PCB materials components and their characteristics.< / li> < / ul>
