Warehouse Operations Associate

MW Polar Foods was founded in 1976, we are one of the largest importer and distributor of premium quality grocery packaged goods & general merchandise products. Our Headquarter is located in Cerritos/Norwalk, CA, and we have 6 Distribution Centers strategically located throughout the continental U.S. servicing various retail channels across the U.S. and South/Central America.

MW Polar is currently looking for a Warehouse Operations Associate to join our team and assists and coordinates activities of warehouse workers engaged in receiving and distributing products by performing the following duties. Carries out process control responsibilities in accordance with the organization's policies and applicable laws. This position is responsible for maintaining and enforcing all company procedures, policies and practices. Responsibilities and Duties

• Document processing for all outbound and Parcel shipments
• Assist on e-commerce order processing, such as but not limited to generate shipping labels for all ecommerce orders from various platforms including Shopify, Amazon (vendor/seller), Walmart, Shipping Easy, and more.
• Responsible for ensuring all shipments have proper POD documents per customer and company requirements and confirming deliveries
• Schedules work for special and periodic inventories.
• Responsible for assisting in periodic cycle counting of inventory.
• Match LOT commitments and physical inventory with the company's accounting system
• Traces history of items to determine reasons for discrepancies between inventory and stock control records and recommends remedial actions to resolve discrepancies.
• Maintains calendar schedule for all inbound/outbound freight
• Supporting role to work with dedicated carriers for efficient and safe routing of delivery trucks.
• Responsible for coordinating will call orders in safe and service friendly manner.
• Responsible for the maintaining and caring for company owned or leased equipment
• Uploading all required documentation onto secured network
• Receives stock into warehouse. Notifies purchasing agent of any discrepancies between shipment(s) and purchase order.
• Responsible for printing daily production work along with corresponding shipping documents.
• Performs miscellaneous duties as requested.

Qualifications.

1. Prior experience in warehouse preferred

2. Prior experience in ecommerce fulfillment/shipping label creation preferred

3. Prior experience in truck driving & forklift driving experiences preferred

4. Detailed oriented & computer savvy

5. Good verbal and written communication skills

6. Bi-lingual English & Spanish (preferred)

Pay: $18.00 - $24.00 per hour
