Job Overview:
Hard Coat Solutions is looking for an experienced Epoxy Flooring & Concrete Overlay Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in removing existing concrete overlays and applying new overlays using epoxy systems. This role requires proficiency in operating large floor grinders and other surface preparation equipment. We are seeking a motivated, detail-oriented individual who takes pride in their craft and can work efficiently in a team environment.
Responsibilities:
- Remove existing concrete overlays using grinders and other equipment.
- Properly prep surfaces for new epoxy systems, ensuring adhesion and durability.
- Operate large floor grinders, shot blasters, and other surface prep machinery.
- Mix and apply epoxy, polyaspartic, and other coatings per manufacturer specifications.
- Repair cracks, joints, and surface imperfections before applying new coatings.
- Ensure a clean, safe, and organized work area.
- Work collaboratively with team members to complete projects on time and to the highest standard.
- Follow safety protocols, including proper PPE usage and material handling.
Qualifications:
- Experience with epoxy flooring and concrete overlay systems required.
- Proficiency in operating large floor grinders and other surface prep tools.
- Ability to lift heavy materials and work on hands and knees for extended periods.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow application procedures.
- Reliable, hardworking, and able to work independently or in a team.
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation preferred.
Job Type: Contract
Pay: $25.00 - $31.19 per hour
Schedule:
- 8 hour shift
- Monday to Friday
