Senior Litigation Attorney – Personal Injury
Location: Decatur, Georgia
MW Talent is proud to partner with a leading personal injury law firm in Georgia to identify a Senior Litigation Attorney for their Decatur team. This role offers the opportunity to work in a collaborative, pod-based structure where attorneys, paralegals, and support staff work together to deliver outstanding results for clients.
About the Role:
The Senior Litigation Attorney will represent personal injury clients through all phases of litigation, including jury trials, motion practice, and negotiations. You’ll play a pivotal role in the success of the litigation team by sharing expertise, collaborating closely with team members, and guiding complex cases to resolution.
This position is ideal for a candidate with significant trial experience, a proven ability to manage complex caseloads, and a desire to grow professionally in a dynamic and innovative law firm.
Key Responsibilities:
- Represent clients in all litigation phases: filing lawsuits, discovery, depositions, motions, mediation, hearings, and trials.
- Collaborate with attorneys, paralegals, and support teams within the pod structure to ensure successful case outcomes.
- Provide input and mentorship to team members when needed, fostering a strong and cohesive litigation team.
- Manage complex caseloads effectively while maintaining high standards of advocacy and professionalism.
Qualifications:
- JD or equivalent law degree from an accredited institution.
- Active membership in the State Bar of Georgia (additional bar memberships are a plus).
- Minimum of five (5) personal injury jury trials as 1st or 2nd chair.
- Experience with bench trials, appellate work, motions, mediation, and arbitration.
- Strong written and oral communication skills (writing sample required).
- Proficiency in research, drafting, and negotiation.
- Ability to thrive under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
