About the Role
MWH is currently seeking a Chief Human Resources Officer (CHRO) , based in our corporate headquarters located in Broomfield, CO. This position reports to the CEO.
The CHRO will lead our HR Department and will be responsible for developing and implementing HR strategies that support the organization's overall business objectives. MWH employs 800 employees across 30 states, with some international presence.
Essential Functions
- Develop and implement HR strategies and initiatives aligned with the overall business strategy.
- Partner with the executive leadership team to drive the organization's culture, human resources and talent strategy, best practices, regulatory changes, and new technologies in HR, talent management, and employee law.
- Provide leadership and guidance throughout the organization but must also be willing and able to do day-to-day HR tasks while embodying a "roll up the sleeves" and "can do" attitude.
- Provide guidance and support to managers and employees on HR-related issues, including knowledgeable coaching to all levels throughout the organization; find workable solutions to complex issues.
- Lead and mentor the HR team members to foster a positive and productive work environment.
- Continue strengthening the onboarding process for strong project and department-specific onboarding.
- Manage the performance review and salary structure systems.
- Optimize HR workflows for efficiency, ensuring processes are streamlined and effective in supporting business and employee needs.
- Nurture a positive working environment and ensure high levels of employee engagement.
- Manage and supervise HR teams across multiple locations.
- Oversee the daily workflow of the department.
- Analyze trends in compensation and benefits to ensure the organization attracts the best talent.
