Job Summary: We are looking for an Applications Engineer to provide technical expertise and support for our industrial pump solutions. This role involves working closely with customers, sales teams, and product development to ensure proper pump selection, performance optimization, and troubleshooting. Other related duties as assigned by management or as developed due to business necessity and growth.
While a mechanical engineering degree is preferred, it is not required, candidates with relevant industry experience and technical knowledge are encouraged to apply. We are looking for a forward thinker who will challenge conventional approaches and introduce fresh, innovative ideas to drive continuous improvement.
Key Responsibilities:
•Assist customers in selecting the appropriate industrial pumps based on their application needs, including flow rate, pressure, and fluid compatibility.
•Provide technical support for pump installations, performance optimization, and troubleshooting.
•Work with sales teams to develop proposals, cost estimates, and technical presentations.
•Conduct on-site evaluations and work with customers to resolve performance or operational issues.
•Support product testing and development by providing feedback on real-world applications.
•Stay updated on industry standards, regulations, and new technologies in the pump industry.
•Provide training and technical documentation for customers and internal teams.
Qualifications & Skills:
•Bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering or a related field (preferred but not required).
•Experience in industrial pumps, fluid mechanics, or rotating equipment is a plus.
•Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills for pump systems.
•Knowledge of pump selection software, CAD tools, and industry regulations is an advantage.
•Familiarity with standard drafting practices, engineering principles, and material properties.
•Ability to interpret and apply technical specifications, blueprints, and schematics.
•Ability to travel to customer sites for technical support and field assessments

Physical Demands:
Must be able to stand, sit, feel, walk, talk, hear, see, bend, lift, crouch, crawl, kneel, squat, push, pull, twist, climb. Must be able to lift a minimum of 40 lbs. Prolonged periods of standing and walking. Exposure to a non-air-conditioned manufacturing environment with varying temperatures and noise level. Must be able to wear the required PPE if required.
Working Conditions:
Normal office environment with some exposure to factory and job site conditions. Extended and weekend work may be required.
Travel Requirements:
Must be able to travel including for training period. Less than 30% travel may be required.

Experience in the pumps or heavy industrial manufacturing is a big plus.
