Summary
We are seeking a Construction Estimator to join our team at Mountain West Industrial. In this role, you will be responsible for preparing accurate cost estimates for construction projects, ensuring that we provide our clients with competitive pricing while maintaining our commitment to quality and safety.
Responsibilities
- Prepare detailed cost estimates for various construction projects.
- Analyze project plans and specifications to determine accurate material and labor costs.
- Negotiate contracts with vendors and subcontractors to secure favorable terms.
- Utilize estimating software such as HeavyBid and Bluebeam for precise calculations.
- Collaborate with project managers to ensure alignment between estimates and project budgets.
- Monitor costs throughout the project lifecycle to maintain budget adherence.
- Provide insights on pricing strategies based on market trends and project requirements.
Requirements
- Proven experience as a Construction Estimator or similar role in the industrial construction sector.
- Strong understanding of construction management principles and practices.
- Proficiency in estimating software (e.g., HeavyBid, Bluebeam) is preferred.
