Program Manager, OT Cybersecurity Program

Overview:
WM seeks an experienced Program Manager to lead its Operational Technology (OT) Cybersecurity Program. This role will drive the execution of cybersecurity initiatives, including network segmentation, secure remote access deployment, and asset discovery and monitoring solutions. The PM will collaborate with WM teams, contractors, and service integrators to ensure successful program implementation and alignment with organizational goals.
Key Responsibilities:
Program Leadership:
• Manage the planning, execution, and delivery of OT cybersecurity initiatives in partnership with consultant PMO.
• Develop and oversee program plans, timelines, financials, and risk assessments.
• Drive regular reporting and updates to senior leadership and stakeholders.
• Governance & Compliance:
• Oversee the development of OT cybersecurity policies, standards, and change management processes.
• Ensure adherence to industry standards (e.g., NIST CSF, IEC 62443).
Technical Oversight:
• Coordinate design and deployment of network segmentation, secure remote access, and asset monitoring solutions.
• Supervise testing and validation of security tool configurations.
• Training & Operations:
• Facilitate OT cybersecurity training and knowledge transfer to WM employees and partners.
• Ensure smooth transition to operations, supporting SOC/NOC teams with updated SOPs and workflows.
Required:
• Bachelor’s degree in cybersecurity, computer science, or related field.
• 8 years of experience in technology program/project management within corporate networks or OT environments.
• Proficiency in cybersecurity and networking concepts, tools, and frameworks.
• Strong organizational, communication, and leadership skills.
Preferred:
• Certifications: PMP, CISSP, or CISM.
• Familiarity with OT network architecture, secure remote access, and incident response.
• Experience in industrial sectors like utilities or waste management.
Work Environment:
• Hybrid/remote flexibility with occasional on-site visits for assessments and deployments.
