Title: IT Operations Specialist
Location: Bloomington, MN (100% Onsite)
Schedule: Three 12-hour days (6 AM - 6 PM) with rotating Saturday once every three weeks
Responsibilities
• Monitor, plan, and evaluate the performance of enterprise systems, recommending improvements or upgrades as needed.
• Provide routine technical assistance and resolve non-complex network, system, or application issues.
• Assist in the development of technical standards and ensure compliance across various applications and systems.
• Utilize network, system, and application management tools like ServiceNow, SiteScope, and New Relic for monitoring and issue resolution.
• Apply standard techniques to deliver professional advice and create initial reports and analyses for review.
• Collaborate with team members, providing guidance and direction to junior staff when needed.
• Maintain situational awareness to ensure rapid resolution of IT issues in a multi-platform distributed environment.

Required Skills and Experience
• System Administration: Experience with UNIX, Linux, and Windows operating systems.
• Networking: General knowledge of WANs and LANs.
• Technical Tools: Experience or familiarity with ServiceNow, SiteScope, and New Relic preferred.
• IT Experience: Minimum of 2 years of direct IT experience preferred.
• Soft Skills:
