About the Position
MWResource, Inc. is seeking a highly skilled GIS Specialist to join our team.
The successful candidate will be responsible for performing GIS work closure and mapping activities under general supervision.
This includes performing administrative support activities of various degrees of complexity, such as:
- Performing and completing 'As Built' design changes for construction and confirming work requests and post updates to Smallworld GIS.
- Checking construction and retirement orders together with their completion reports in the field against the actual installations and retirements of equipment.
- Performing and completing all types of Data Model changes and map/drawing changes.
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in GIS systems and procedures, as well as excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Main Responsibilities:
- Collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration of GIS data and systems.
- Developing and maintaining accurate and up-to-date GIS maps and databases.
- Providing technical support and guidance to colleagues and stakeholders.
