JOB SUMMARY: The IT Analyst evaluates works under the IT Project Supervisor and IT Manager to evaluate user needs and then helps design, test and implement solutions to meet them. The IT Analyst will also work on help desk requests and will be responsible for supporting and optimizing the company’s IT infrastructure, software applications, and technical operations. This role involves managing and troubleshooting systems such as Microsoft Dynamics Business Central (BC), inventory labeling solutions, and desktop environments while ensuring network security and efficiency through Active Directory, DNS/DHCP, Group Policy, and NTFS permissions.
The responsibilities of this position include (but not limited to) :
- Review & Implementation of User Requests for Software Enhancements
- Microsoft Dynamics BC, C#, C
- Crystal Reports is a Bonus
- Inventory & Packaging Labeling Solutions (Informed Filler, Bar Tender or C#)
- Working with 3rd Parties on Software solutions
- Implementation & Training of Software
- Create/Maintain Active Directory User/Computer Accounts
- Create/Maintain Active Directory Security Groups
- Create/Maintain Internal DNS & DHCP Servers
- Maintain Network Switches & Firewalls
- Group Policy Objects
- NTFS/Share Permissions
- System Backups
- Log Reviews
- Manage Network Servers and Technology Tools
- Windows Software Update Services (WSUS)
- PowerShell scripting
- Desktop/Printer Hardware Configurations & Repairs
- Configuration of Desktop/Network Scanners
- Offer Technical Support to Company Staff and Troubleshoot Computer Problems
- Troubleshoot Issues & Outages
- Build an Internal Knowledgebase with Technical Documentation, Manuals and IT Policies
- Perform All Other Duties as Required
Qualifications
- Strong technical support and computer management skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel
- Experience with computer networking, VPN, and firewall management
- Knowledge of software troubleshooting and desktop support
- Familiarity with DHCP, Active Directory, DNS, and GPO
- Experience with PowerShell, C# programming and SQL
- Excellent customer service skills and ability to work collaboratively
