Lineman / Groundman

MXCI is a Federal General Contractor currently hiring seasoned lineman and groundman for a project in Fresno CA. A minimum of five (5) years’ experience required with a working knowledge of best practices, methods, sequencing as well as OSHA and EM385-1-1 regulations.

Previous experience should reflect work on electrical transmission lines, distribution lines, switch yards and/or substations.

Compensation is based on each projects prevailing wage rates; where/when travel is required the company covers hotel, provides perdiem and mileage reimbursement.

  • Clean driver’s license required
  • Ability to read and write in English
  • Willing to travel throughout California

This is a mobile position that involves work at a construction site where duties are performed both indoors and outdoors.

Job duties require the endurance and ability visit the entire job site, including stairs or other elevated structures; ability to stand for several hours at a time and to walk in varying climate conditions and on uneven ground;

Capacity to occasionally physically lift and/or move up to 75lbs;

Reach with hands and arms;

Climb or balance, stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $80.00 - $150.00 per hour

Salary : $80 - $150
