Position Summary:
Under direct supervision of the Ranch Manager, assist in the maintenance and development of the property. This includes seasonal weed abatement ,small engine repair, daily and weekly cleaning of all job sites and established areas, vehicle cleaning and maintenance, brush and rock clearing, SWPPP compliance and more.
Duties & Responsibilities: The major responsibilities of the position may include, but are not limited to:
- Organizing yourself and your projects in a professional manner
- Keeping all work areas neat and tidy at all times to maintain the aesthetic of the estate
- Small engine repair
- Chain saw repair
- Maintaining building interiors and exteriors
- Establishing and maintaining trails and roads on the estate property
- Set-up and clean up for special events
- Performing light carpentry, painting, plumbing, electrical, etc.
- Handling chainsaws, clearing brush, bucking logs and removing debris with an industrial chipper
- Concrete and masonry projects
- Completing other maintenance and grounds projects as assigned
- Demonstrate a full understanding of all applicable policies, procedures and work methods associated with assigned duties
Minimum Job Requirements:
- Small engine repair
- Valid California Driver's license, clean driving record and a reliable means of transportation
- Full background security check
- Ability to lift and carry 50 lbs
- Ability to work outside year-round, including inclement weather with exposure to poison oak
- Ability to use gas-powered equipment and power tools safely
- Ability to exercise discretion and maintain confidentiality and privacy
- Strong attention to detail and the ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks
- Skilled self starter who can follow projects to completion
- Ability to be punctual and keep a good attendance record and reliable transportation
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: From $25.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 per week
