Position Summary

This position is responsible for creating new and strengthening existing relationships by selling to key decision makers at area health/hospital systems, independent imaging centers, orthopedic/surgical centers and non-acute care facilities. The role requires the ability to effectively promote capital equipment and digital imaging solutions including imaging software, service contracts and durable products while working with an array of internal and manufacturer support personnel. Successful representatives will identify customer needs and provide consultative department workflow recommendations while choosing from a wide portfolio of imaging solutions.

Essential Duties

  • Create a holistic territory plan and manage sales' processes from cold call to close to achieve annual operating plan by prioritizing selling time to generate sales volume, achieve account penetration and complete territory coverage.
  • Own cold call strategy, funnel development and management, territory development and close deals within assigned geography.
  • Develop and implement an annual business plan supporting attainment of quota and market share growth, and update on a monthly or quarterly basis.
  • Maintain identified business to support a balanced sales funnel and accurate profile of customer assets.
  • Achieve annual operating plan by prioritizing leasing/selling time to generate sales volume across new business, achieving account penetration and completing territory coverage.
  • Develop and maintain a high level of product knowledge of CT and MRI for MXR Imaging and competitive products.
  • Develop quota attainment business plan and/or account penetration strategies for key target accounts and provide management with a quarterly report of progress through Sales CRM (Salesforce).
  • Develop and maintain consultative sales relationships with all key-buying influences in each account, including multiple levels within the customer's organization including department administrators, physicians, the CFO, CIO, CEO and CMO.
  • Maintain complete knowledge of each account's current and long-term leasing/purchase plans and objectives, keeping management informed of all changes in plans, objectives and key buying influences.
  • Support company-wide initiatives, policies and procedures, including Quality Management System maintenance.
  • Duties and responsibilities are subject to modification to fit the needs of the business as deemed appropriate by the executive management team. Such modifications may occur in writing or verbally.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Education/Experience

Required:

  • High School Diploma
  • Three to five years' sales experience of medical equipment
  • Experience in sales and leasing of capital equipment
  • Ability to work comfortably with department level & C-level customer management along with ability to communicate effectively with executive management.

Preferred

  • Bachelor's Degree
  • Knowledge of Salesforce Software

Travel

  • Up to 80% locally
  • Up to 20% overnight travel

Competencies

  • Excellent verbal and written English communication skills
  • Ability to work effectively with internal and external customers
  • Ability to work independently and provide timely results
  • Proficient with MS Office applications, including Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and CRM software
  • Strong organizational skills and ability to prioritize tasks
