What are the responsibilities and job description for the Board Certified Assistant Behavior Analyst (BCaBA) position at My ABA Family LLC?
Duties:
- Assist in conducting Initial assessments and Re-Assessments. Gather clinical material to complete assessments.
- Adhere to weekly billing requirement as set by the company.
- Render clinical services to meet the needs of the client. That is, provide services at the location and time associated with the individual’s needs. This should include a minimum of two evenings a week.
- Review and approve the clinical documentation listed below and ensure that the information is complete and accurate: Data Collection of maladaptive behaviors and replacements/skills acquisitions, RBT Daily Notes, RBT Competency and Monthly Progress Report.
- Monitoring and assessment of the recipient's progress toward goals in the behavior plan.
- Training of the recipient's family, caregivers, and other individuals involved in implementing the behavior plan and intervention strategies as needed.
- Implement behavior analysis interventions.
- Supervision or RBTs , according to the BACB requirements.
- Use of the automated ABA system contracted by the company.
- Compliance with the Ethics Code of Behavior Analysis.
- Attend client’s school meetings when needed and/or submit written reports.
- Maintain all records indicating consistent supervision meetings as required by the BACB.
- Perform all other duties as required
Qualifications:
- Board Certification as a Behavior Analyst (BCBA) or Board Certified Assistant Behavior Analyst (BCaBA).
- Experience working with children or individuals with developmental disabilities, particularly autism spectrum disorder.
- Strong knowledge of behavioral therapy techniques and principles.
- Familiarity with special education practices and strategies.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team.
- Proficiency in behavioral therapy terminology and documentation.
