Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Facilities Technician to join our team. Duties
- Conduct routine inspections of facilities to identify maintenance needs and safety hazards.
- Perform repairs on various systems, including electrical, plumbing, and HVAC.
- Utilize logic controllers for troubleshooting and repairs as necessary.
- Execute residential painting tasks to maintain aesthetic standards.
- Supervise maintenance staff and coordinate activities to ensure efficient operations.
- Use an ohmmeter for electrical testing and diagnostics.
- Weld components as needed for repairs or fabrication projects.
- Read and interpret schematics to understand system layouts and troubleshoot issues effectively.
- Fabricate parts or components as required for maintenance tasks.
- Provide excellent customer service while interacting with facility occupants and addressing their concerns.
Requirements
- Proven experience in facilities maintenance or a related field.
- Strong command of the English language, both written and verbal.
- Familiarity with logic controllers and their applications in facility management.
- Experience with residential painting techniques and best practices.
- Previous supervisory experience is preferred but not mandatory.
- Proficient in using an ohmmeter and other diagnostic tools for electrical work.
- Ability to weld or willingness to learn welding techniques is a plus.
- Competence in reading schematics and technical drawings for troubleshooting purposes.
- Skills in fabricating parts or components as needed for repairs or enhancements.
- Strong customer service orientation with the ability to communicate effectively with clients and team members.
