What are the responsibilities and job description for the Machine Operator position at My Assembly Solutions?
Hours are as follows.
Full time Monday - Friday 1st, 2nd & 3rd shift positions available
Responsibilities:
- Prepare machine by placing spools of thread, inserting bobbins, changing and threading needles; securing attachments.
- Remove garment or headwear from box and secure on embroidery hoop.
- Place hooped headwear or garment on machine; position under needles.
- Start and operate or tend machine.
- Adjust machine performance by adjusting settings, thread and bobbin tensions.
- Monitor machine operation to detect problems such as machine malfunctions, defective stitching, or breaks in thread.
- Tie thread on back of machine.
- Remove hooped garment or headwear from machine.
- Maintain quality by inspecting finished product.
- Place hooped garment or headwear in box.
- Ensure operation of machine by completing preventive maintenance requirements.
- Additional as assigned.
Requirements:
- High School Diploma
- Previous manufacturing warehouse experience
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $18.00 - $23.00 per hour
