What are the responsibilities and job description for the Machine Operator position at My Assembly Solutions?
We are looking for mechanically inclined individuals for 1st, 2nd and 3rd shift openings. OT is available but not mandatory.
Pay range depending on experience and shifts
Responsibilities:
- Manufacturing sheet metal parts, sub-assemblies and assemblies per safety, quality and productivity specifications.
- Works from written and verbal schedules.
- Operates one or more units of the following type of production equipment: presses, spot welders, brazing oven, or other similar or related devices.
- Makes simple setups and/or minor adjustments to the equipment required to produce a variety of products and to maintain processes per specifications.
- May build control panel and wire units per wire diagrams.
- May operate multiple machine batteries or perform assembly singly or in combination with other operations.
- Performs material handling operations as directed.
- Responsible for quality of own work.
- Maintains accurate production records.
- Responsible for keeping work area clean, safe and orderly.
- Performs other duties as assigned by supervisor.
Qualifications Required:
- HS Diploma or GED
- Ability to maintain quality standards.
- More than basic knowledge of tools and processes. Work may entail features of some complicity.
- Requires the use of some judgment working with a minimum amount of direct work instruction.
- Frequently handles 21-50 lbs while standing.
- Ability to work from diagrams and prints.
- Ability to follow instructions, and to instruct other employees in machine operations.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $23.00 - $26.00 per hour
