Responsibilities
- Operate warehouse equipment safely and efficiently, including cranes and order pickers.
- Perform order picking tasks accurately to fulfill customer requests.
- Manage inventory control processes to ensure accurate stock levels.
- Handle materials with care, ensuring proper storage and organization within the warehouse.
- Assist with shipping and receiving operations, including verifying shipments against packing lists.
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment in compliance with OSHA regulations.
- Collaborate with team members to build pallets and prepare products for distribution.
- Conduct regular inspections of equipment and report any maintenance needs.
Experience
- Previous experience in a warehouse setting is preferred but not required.
- Knowledge of OSHA safety standards is beneficial.
- Experience with heavy lifting and materials handling is essential.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail are required.
- Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
