About the Role:
EMR USA is seeking a dedicated Yard Driver to join our team in Dallas, TX. The Yard Driver will be responsible for safely relocating containers around the yard for loading purposes. This role requires a strong focus on safety, efficiency, and the ability to work independently to meet daily goals.
Key Responsibilities:
- Transport materials to and from designated locations within the yard safely and efficiently.
- Pick up full containers and unload them in the appropriate locations.
- Perform other duties as assigned by the Depot Manager.
Qualifications:
- Education: High School diploma or GED-equivalent.
Skills:
- Ability to work independently and operate yard vehicles safely.
- Strong organizational skills and the ability to work under pressure to meet deadlines.
- Basic customer service skills to interact professionally within the team.
Work Environment:
- Outdoor setting with exposure to moving mechanical parts and various weather conditions.
- Noise levels may be high; ear protection may be required.
- Frequent standing, walking, bending, kneeling, and lifting (up to 50 lbs.).
- Working in confined spaces may be necessary at times.
