Your Opportunity:

This is a full-time, in-person position reporting to the President of Operations. As a Product Research Analyst, you will be responsible for the support of the development of innovative products for the MyBambu app by providing data-driven insights, market research, and competitive analysis. This role will be instrumental in identifying customer needs, evaluating industry trends, and shaping MyBambu product strategy.

Job Responsibilities:

• Conduct in-depth research on digital banking trends, competitor products, consumer behavior, and emerging technologies to identify opportunities for innovation.
• Gather and analyze user feedback, transaction patterns, and engagement metrics to improve product offerings.
• Track key performance indicators (KPIs) for existing products and provide insights to optimize customer experience and retention.
• Utilize data analytics tools to extract insights, create reports, and present findings to product managers and stakeholders.
• Work closely with Product, Engineering, Compliance, and Marketing teams to align research insights with business strategy.
• Stay up to date with financial regulations, Open Banking policies, KYC/AML requirements, and global fintech trends to ensure compliance in product development.
• Assist in A/B testing, user experience studies, and customer interviews to validate product hypotheses and new features.
• Prepare detailed reports, presentations, and recommendations based on research findings to guide product strategy.

Skill and Abilities:

• Strong analytical and critical thinking skills with the ability to translate data into actionable insights.
• Proficiency in data analytics tools (Excel, SQL, Tableau, Looker, or Power BI).
• Experience with customer research methods, including surveys, interviews, and behavioral analysis.
• Strong understanding of fintech, digital banking, and emerging financial technologies.
• Ability to synthesize large amounts of data into concise, strategic recommendations.
• Strong communication and presentation skills to effectively share insights with stakeholders.
• Knowledge of UX/UI principles and customer experience best practices.

Job Requirements:

• Bilingual in Spanish and English, preferred.
• Three (3 ) years in product research, data analysis, fintech consulting, or market research, preferably in a financial services or digital banking environment.
• Bachelor’s degree in business, Economics, Data Science, Finance, or a related field, preferred
• Experience with SQL, Google Analytics, Python/R (for data analysis), or A/B testing platforms is a plus.
• Familiarity with digital banking, payments, neobank business models, and financial regulations (PSD2, Open Banking, KYC, AML, etc.).
• Understanding of fintech user behaviors and customer segmentation strategies.

Physical Requirements: 

• Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
• Must be able to lift up to 15 pounds at times.
