Part-Time Nanny for Active Toddler - Boulder, CO

Location: Boulder, CO (near downtown)

Compensation: $29-35/hour (depending on experience)

Job Description:
We are seeking a gentle, nurturing, and outdoor-loving nanny to care for our 16-month-old son, with a guaranteed pay of 10-12 hours per week even if we need you fewer hours and opportunities for additional hours. Our family is looking for someone who enjoys spending time outdoors, engaging in creative play, and fostering a positive environment.

Responsibilities:

• Provide attentive care for our toddler, including outdoor play, visits to local playgrounds, and participation in activities like gymnastics or music classes.
• Maintain a tidy and organized environment, with light housekeeping tasks (e.g., sweeping, dishes, and food prep) during downtime.
• Respect our vegan household by adhering to vegan-friendly practices while in our home, is a huge bonus.
• Offer occasional evening or weekend care for date nights.

Qualifications:

• Experience working with toddlers or young children.
• Gentle, nurturing demeanor with a love for the outdoors.
• Punctual, organized, and an effective communicator.
• Happy to engage in singing, arts and crafts, and other enriching activities.
• Ability to respect and support our vegan household values.

Schedule:

• Flexible schedule with most hours between morning and early evening (2-3 hour shifts).
• Open to occasional additional hours or shifts on weekends or evenings.

Ideal Candidate:
You’re a warm, compassionate caregiver who enjoys spending time outside, staying active, and creating a safe and joyful environment for children. You’re tidy, reliable, and happy to contribute to light household tasks when time allows. A shared appreciation for a vegan lifestyle is a plus! Ideally we're looking for someone long term. We are welcoming an additional baby in March and will just love an extra set of hands!

Start Date:

• ASAP (flexible, with a preference for someone starting no later than February 1).

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $29.50 - $35.50 per hour

Expected hours: 10 – 16 per week
