Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Maintenance Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for performing a variety of maintenance tasks to ensure the smooth operation of our facilities. This role requires a strong mechanical aptitude, attention to detail, and the ability to troubleshoot and resolve issues effectively. The Maintenance Technician will work on both electrical and mechanical systems, ensuring that all equipment is functioning properly and safely. Allen Bradley Fanuc and Siemens experience preferred
Responsibilities
- Conduct regular inspections of facilities and equipment to identify maintenance needs.
- Perform repairs and maintenance on electrical systems, including troubleshooting using an Ohmmeter.
- Fabricate parts as necessary to ensure efficient operation of machinery.
- Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities using a Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS).
- Read and interpret schematics to understand system layouts and troubleshoot issues.
- Execute facilities maintenance tasks, including plumbing, HVAC, and general repairs.
- Carry out residential painting projects as needed to maintain aesthetic standards.
- Collaborate with team members to complete larger projects efficiently and safely.
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations while performing all maintenance tasks.
Requirements
- Proven experience in facilities maintenance or a related field.
- Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to troubleshoot various systems.
- Proficiency in welding techniques is preferred but not mandatory.
- Familiarity with electrical systems and the ability to use tools such as an Ohmmeter.
- Ability to read and understand schematics for effective problem-solving.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work well within a team environment.
- Strong attention to detail with a commitment to quality workmanship.
- Flexibility to work various shifts as needed based on facility requirements.
