Duties
- Develop, program, and troubleshoot PLC logic controllers to ensure optimal performance of automated systems.
- Calibrate equipment and systems to maintain precise operational standards.
- Read and interpret electrical schematics to facilitate effective programming and troubleshooting.
- Maintain existing PLC programs and make necessary modifications to improve efficiency or address issues.
- Collaborate with the engineering team to fabricate solutions that enhance system functionality.
- Provide exceptional customer service by addressing client inquiries and resolving technical issues promptly.
- Work closely with industrial electricians to ensure seamless integration of electrical components within the automation systems.
- Utilize mechanical knowledge to support the maintenance of machinery and equipment in an industrial setting.
Requirements
- Proven experience in programming logic controllers (PLC) in an industrial environment.
- Strong understanding of high voltage systems and safety protocols associated with them.
- Ability to read and interpret schematics effectively.
- Experience in calibrating equipment and maintaining automated systems.
- Background as an industrial electrician is preferred but not mandatory.
- Solid mechanical knowledge with hands-on experience in industrial maintenance tasks.
- Excellent problem-solving skills combined with a customer-oriented approach.
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, to collaborate effectively with team members and clients.
