We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Registered Nurse for our Emergency Room team. As a vital member of our healthcare facility, you will provide high-quality patient care in a fast-paced environment. You will be responsible for assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating patient care in accordance with established standards and protocols. Responsibilities
- Conduct thorough diagnostic evaluations to assess patient conditions upon arrival.
- Administer gastric lavage and other emergency interventions as necessary.
- Provide care for patients with various medical needs, including those requiring internal medicine expertise.
- Deliver specialized infant care in critical situations.
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team in a Level II Trauma Center to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
- Offer memory care support to patients with cognitive impairments.
- Assist in clinic settings when required, ensuring seamless transitions between emergency and outpatient care.
- Perform dialysis procedures for patients as needed.
- Utilize medical imaging techniques to aid in the diagnosis and treatment of patients.
- Maintain accurate patient records and documentation in compliance with healthcare regulations.
Skills
- Proficient in diagnostic evaluation techniques and emergency response protocols.
- Experience with gastric lavage procedures and critical care management.
- Knowledgeable in internal medicine practices and infant care requirements.
- Familiarity with operations within a Level II Trauma Center environment.
- Ability to provide memory care and support for patients with cognitive challenges.
- Competent in clinic operations and patient management strategies.
- Skilled in performing dialysis treatments effectively and safely.
- Proficient in utilizing medical imaging technologies for patient assessment.
- Current Nevada RN license required.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) within 14 days of hire.
- Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ALCS) within 30 days of hire.
- Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) within 90 days of hire.
- Trauma Nursing Core Course (TNCC) within 6 months of hire.
