Qualifications

•Proven experience in a supervisory role within the housekeeping department of a hotel or similar establishment.

* Fluency in English and Spanish is essential for effective communication with internal teams and clients.

•A strong passion for cleanliness and exceptional attention to detail.

•Excellent leadership and communication skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire a diverse team.

•Strong organizational and problem-solving abilities, with the capacity to handle multiple tasks efficiently.

•Knowledge of cleaning techniques, procedures, and products, as well as health and safety regulations.

•Proficiency in using housekeeping management software and basic computer skills.

•Flexibility to work various shifts, including weekends and holidays, as needed.

•Must be able to lift up to 50-pounds

Responsibilities

•Lead, motivate, and inspire a team of housekeeping staff to ensure the highest standards of cleanliness and presentation are met and exceeded.

•Assist overseeing the daily operations of the housekeeping department, including room cleaning, laundry, and public area maintenance.

•Conduct regular inspections to ensure all guest rooms and public areas are spotless, well-maintained, and in compliance with hotel standards.

•Train and educate housekeeping staff on cleaning procedures, safety protocols, and efficient time management techniques.

•Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless guest experiences, coordinating room turnovers, special requests, and VIP accommodations.

•Manage inventory and supplies, ensure proper stock levels and adherence to budget guidelines.

•Address guest concerns and complaints promptly and professionally, taking immediate action to resolve issues and prevent future occurrences.

•Implement and enforce quality control measures, ensuring consistency and adherence to brand standards.

•Stay updated on industry trends, innovations, and best practices in housekeeping management, fostering a culture of continuous improvement.

•Assist in the recruitment, training, and development of housekeeping team members, fostering a positive and supportive work environment.
