The Universal Representative is responsible for providing comprehensive financial services to credit union members. This role involves a wide range of duties, including member transactions, loan processing, product sales, and member service. Essential Functions & Responsibilities:
1. Member Transactions
· Efficiently process a variety of transactions, including deposits, withdrawals, loan payments, and money orders.
· Accurately maintain member account information.
· Balance cash drawers and complete daily transaction reports.
2. Loan Processing
· Conduct loan interviews and gather necessary documentation.
· Process loan applications and closings.
· Cross-sell loan-related products and services.
3. Member Service
· Provide excellent customer service by actively listening to member needs and offering tailored solutions.
· Assist members with account openings, closings, and maintenance.
· Advise members on credit union products and services.
· Resolve member inquiries and concerns.
4. Product Sales
· Identify cross-selling opportunities and proactively promote relevant products and services.
· Educate members on the benefits of various financial products.
· Meet or exceed sales goals.
5. Operational Duties
· Perform miscellaneous tasks such as ordering checks, processing wire transfers, and resetting passwords.
· Stay up to date on credit union policies, procedures, and compliance requirements.
· Represent the credit union at events, conferences, and other functions as needed.

Knowledge and Skills:
1. Experience
· Six months to two years of similar or related experience.
2. Education
· Graduation from an accredited senior high school or equivalent or GED
3. Skills
· Knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite, internet, and data-base management
· Ability to coordinate with other staff, departments, officials, and the public.
· Ability to communicate ideas and instructions clearly and concisely.
Physical Requirements:
1. Constantly repeating motions that may include the wrists, hands and/or fingers. This includes but may not be limited to keyboarding, writing, and filing.
2. Constantly remaining in a stationary position, often sitting for prolonged periods.
3. Occasionally adjusting or moving objects up to 75 pounds for various needs.
4. The person in this position constantly communicates in person and in writing with members, managers, and colleagues. Must be able to exchange accurate information in these situations.
5. The ability to observe details at close range to assess the accuracy, neatness, and thoroughness of the work assigned.
