Key Responsibilities & Qualifications:
- 5 years of professional dog grooming experience.
- Perform breed-specific grooms and custom cuts, including bathing, haircuts, nail trims, ear cleaning, and more.
- Greet and have excellent communication skills and a customer service mindset, ensuring client satisfaction with every groom.
- Handle dogs of all sizes and temperaments with care and compassion.
- Physical ability to lift, handle, and groom dogs of various sizes and able to be on feet for extended periods of time.
- Keep the grooming area clean and organized, following all health and safety guidelines.
- Communicate professionally with clients to provide advice on coat care, maintenance, and grooming schedules.
- Strong communication skills to interact with clients, veterinary offices, and other contacts via phone as needed.
- Proficient in performing routine tasks on a computer, including using Microsoft Office programs and appointment management software.
- Applicants are required to provide their own grooming tools for this position.
- Ability to work well in a team-oriented environment, supporting coworkers and contributing to a positive workplace culture.
- Willingness to actively participate in events or trade shows hosted or attended by My Dog's Bakery.
- Additional responsibilities may be assigned as needed.

- W2 employee status with commission-based pay.
- Retain 100% of tips.
