Preschool Teacher

Job Summary
We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Preschool Teacher to join our early childhood education team. The ideal candidate will create a nurturing and stimulating environment that fosters the social, emotional, and cognitive development of young children. This role involves implementing engaging curriculum activities that promote learning through play while ensuring the safety and well-being of all students.

Duties

• Develop and implement age-appropriate lesson plans that align with educational standards and promote childhood development.
• Create a positive classroom environment that encourages exploration, creativity, and learning.
• Facilitate daily activities including arts and crafts, storytelling, music, and outdoor play.
• Assess children's progress through observations and standardized testing to tailor instruction to individual needs.
• Communicate effectively with parents regarding their child's development and classroom activities.
• Collaborate with colleagues to develop curriculum and share best practices in early childhood education.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe classroom environment.

Experience

• Previous experience in a preschool or daycare setting is preferred.
• Familiarity with Montessori methods or other early childhood education philosophies is a plus.
• Strong understanding of childhood development principles and literacy education.
• Experience in curriculum development and classroom management is highly desirable.
• Ability to work effectively with children of varying abilities and backgrounds.
• Excellent communication skills for interacting with children, parents, and staff.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $14.00 - $17.00 per hour
