The emphasis in the Family Safety Programs to promote the safety, permanence and well-being of the children we serve. The incumbent in this position is considered to have regulatory responsibilities and is subject to the provisions of Chapter 65-C 45, 46, 15 and 16, Florida Administrative Code.DUTIES and RESPONSIBILITIESConduct federal audit preparation by ensuring background screening documents for providers are submitted and dates are appropriate.Completing on-site visits, gathering of data, reviewing personnel and client files and upon completion submitting the packet for licensure.Complete licensing attestation reviewsUpload files to FSFN for CCA / CPACoordinate, schedule LPRC staffings and document the outcome on the form and in FSFNAssist new providers with getting the paperwork and processes completed for CCA / CPA licensureAccompany our other teams conducting site visits at the at-risk CCAs and report back any issuesMaintain the new licensing trackerProvides technical assistance, consultation and training to CBC's, licensing providers, child placing and child caring agencies for interpretation of licensing standards and any changes in operating procedure, administrative code or statutory requirements and other concerns about foster care licensing.Track all files that have been sent back to CPAs for correction and follow up with the licensing agency to ensure timely responses are receivedTrack all expiring licenses and send reminders to the CCAs / CPAsBe in charge a dedicated phone line for licensing related questions from providers and communityTrack CAPs for completionTrack overcapacity waivers to ensure none expireMonitor the 1268 report for data errorsTrack open FCRs to ensure compliance with timeframes and assign to team. Check receiving unit and assign FCR to CBC or DCF.Approve licenses in Binti to reduce backlog upon confirmation from the licensing specialist that it is approved in FSFN.Response to zoning inquiry listsOCA requests- review forms to ensure it is filled out completely and ensure supporting documentation was submittedUAT system testingAssist with briefing documents as appropriateAssist with gathering PIP information (recruitment / retention plans, etc.)Rearrests : Follow up with provider to determine outcome of individuals employment statusLSS : assign as Intake worker to enter complaints in the system and assign to the licensing specialistResponds positively and timely to special assignments and performs other related duties as assigned by the supervisor.PERFERRED MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONSBachelors degree preferredChild welfare certification from the FCB preferredA minimum of 2 years experience in Child Welfare preferredA minimum of 1 year experience in foster home licensing preferredComputer skills to include, but not limited to Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, Teams), Florida Safe Family Network (FSFN), InternetTravel throughout the NE Region is requiredPreferences : Bachelor’s degree in social services related area of study.
