About My Flower Service:
We specialize in window boxes, container gardens, and container landscaping for both residential and commercial clients. We are based in Newtown on the East side of Cincinnati.
We are looking for quality individuals to fill our 'Inventory Associate' positions. These associates will organize plant inventory, help intake deliveries, pull material from stock for jobs, run errands, and be an overall helping hand at our shop in Newtown.
Our work is seasonal, and hours change depending on weather and time of year.

Key Responsibilities:
- General Labor: Perform general labor duties, including lifting, moving plant materials, and cleaning up workspaces.
- Tool and Equipment Maintenance: Ensure that tools and equipment are clean, and stored properly.
- Inventory Control: Help manage inventory by organizing materials, parts, and tools, and assisting with restocking when necessary.
- Safety and Cleanliness: Follow all safety guidelines and protocols to maintain a safe work environment. Clean and organize the shop area to ensure that it remains tidy and free of hazards.
- Loading and Unloading Materials: Assist in loading and unloading large plant deliveries or products. * Has self-management skills to work alone when necessary * Watering and Maintaining plant material.
- Driving: Can drive a Box Truck. Must have a clean driving record.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Basic knowledge of tools and shop equipment.
- Ability to lift and move objects.
- Strong attention to detail and a willingness to learn new skills.
- Good communication skills and the ability to work well with directions and tasks.
- General Plant Knowledge.
Physical Requirements:
- Ability to stand for extended periods.
- Ability to lift heavy objects (typically up to 50 pounds) ie. moving soil, tools, plant material.
- Comfort working in dirt and a high paced environment.
Work Environment:
- Fast-paced, hands-on work environment with exposure to various equipment and tools.
- Some roles may require working in a noisy or dusty environment.
- Adherence to safety standards and use of protective gear (e.g., gloves, goggles, etc.) may be required.
Hours:
Hours are available for Monday through Saturday.
Full time preferred.
This is a seasonal position so hours may vary.
Pay:
Hourly biweekly pay.
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time, Temporary
Pay: $16.00 - $17.00 per hour
Schedule:
- 10 hour shift
- 8 hour shift
- Day shift
- Monday to Friday
- No nights
- Overtime
- Weekends as needed
