My Fresh Basket is a market with selection like no other in Spokane: Fresh meats and produce from local farmers and ranchers; special breads from local artisan bakeries; locally roasted coffee made from fair trade, shade grown, organic beans, and so much more.
Our Bakery: We not only carry several local bakery and dessert shop goods but we also make several specialty items in-house.
What will you do?
- Mix and bake ingredients according to company recipes to produce breads, pastries and other baked goods
- Design and decorate cakes, cookies, etc. following the customers specifications and special requests
- Work with ovens, mixers, slicers, and proofers to bake products that meet the highest quality, freshness, and safety standards
- Communicate and complete guests’ special order requests with accuracy and timeliness
- Perform stocking, food prep, cleaning, and sanitation tasks as needed
Are you a good fit?
- You enjoy both working alone and with a team.
- Have a high school diploma or GED; or at least one year of related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience
- At least 1 year of Bakery experience
- Valid State Food Handlers Permit; or ability to obtain one within 30 days of employment.
- Must be able to continuously lift and/or move up to 10 pounds, frequently lift and/or move up to 25 pounds, and occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds
Compensation
Depends on Experience
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: From $18.00 per hour
Expected hours: 32 – 40 per week
