My Fresh Basket is a market with selection like no other in Spokane: Fresh meats and produce from local farmers and ranchers; specialty breads from local artisan bakeries; locally roasted coffee made from fair trade, shade grown, organic beans, and so much more.

What will you do?
- Assist supervisors in controlling customer flow and backed up lines; help to reduce waiting time for customers.
- Promoting sales through active discussions with customers, offering product recommendations, and discussing current promotions and service information.
- Follow proper procedures for customer check out, handling of tenders, use of tares, sales of alcoholic beverages, and use of PLUs and UPCs.
- Answer department telephone calls and pages quickly and with excellent phone etiquette.
- Tendering cash, personal checks, EWIC, and credit, debit, or EBT card payments for our guests’ purchases.
- Counting back customers change for all cash transactions.
- Maintaining cleanliness of the store by, Facing, stocking and general cleaning.
- Willing to cross train in other departments
Are you a good fit?
- Over a year of experience in retail ( A Plus!)
- Comfortable with math and currency
- Must be at least 18 years of age
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: From $16.67 per hour
Expected hours: 16 – 24 per week
