Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Restoration Technician to join our team. Someone with experience in the restoration industry and a strong understanding of various restoration processes, including water damage restoration, fire restoration, mold remediation. This role requires a hands-on approach to restoring properties to their pre-damage condition while ensuring safety and compliance with industry standards. IICRC water certified is a plus, and pay will reflect.
Responsibilities
- Assess and evaluate damage to properties caused by water, fire, mold, or other disasters.
- Utilize hand tools and power tools effectively for restoration tasks.
- Perform water extraction and drying procedures to mitigate water damage.
- Conduct mold remediation processes in accordance with safety regulations.
- Execute fire restoration tasks, including cleaning and deodorizing affected areas.
- Carry out carpet cleaning and other cleaning duties as required.
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment throughout all restoration projects.
- Communicate with clients regarding the restoration process and provide updates on progress.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient workflow and high-quality results.
Requirements
- Previous experience in the restoration industry is preferred but not mandatory.
- Knowledge of water damage restoration techniques and equipment is essential.
- Ability to operate hand tools and power tools safely and effectively.
- Strong attention to detail with a commitment to quality work.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work under pressure.
- Must be able to lift heavy objects and perform physical tasks as needed.
- Valid driver's license may be required for transportation between job sites.
