Early Childhood Fitness Teacher

Job Description:
My Gym is seeking a passionate and dedicated Lead Early Childhood Gym Teacher to support our children’s fitness programs. In this role, you will assist in overseeing daily operations and help create an engaging environment for children and their families.

Job Summary:

The Lead Gym Teacher plays a vital role in supporting the Gym Director in managing the day-to-day operations of the My Gym location. You will ensure the highest quality of service for both children and their families while fostering a positive and engaging environment. This leadership position requires a balance of business management, team leadership, and exceptional customer service skills. The ideal candidate is a motivated self-starter with a passion for childhood development and a commitment to growing our community of families.

Responsibilities:

• Daily Operations: Assist in overseeing the daily operations of the center, including staff training and effective communication with parents
• Family Engagement: Build and maintain strong relationships with families, ensuring their satisfaction and addressing any concerns
• Strategic Development: Develop and implement strategies to boost enrollment and retain current families
• Safety and Cleanliness: Ensure a clean, safe, and welcoming environment for children, families, and staff at all times Qualifications:
• Experience with children: Proven experience working with young children in an organized setting
• Leadership Skills: Demonstrated leadership or management experience, with the ability
• to motivate and guide a team
• Team-Oriented: Strong willingness to collaborate and contribute as a dedicated team

• Effective Communication: Excellent communication skills for clear interaction with staff,

parents, and guestsresponsibilities

• Physical Capability: Ability to reach, bend, stoop, and frequently lift up to 50 pounds
• Endurance: Capacity to stand for extended periods (up to 6 hours) while fulfilling job
• Background: A background in dance, theater or kinesiology are desired.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $18.00 - $21.00 per hour

Expected hours: 30 – 40 per week
