Job Summary :

The Gym Director oversees the daily operations of the My Gym location, ensuring exceptional service for children and their families. This leadership role requires a blend of business management, team leadership, and customer service skills. The ideal candidate is a motivated self-starter with a passion for childhood development and a strong desire to cultivate a vibrant community of families.

Responsibilities :

Work Schedule : Committed to 40 hours per week, including weekends as needed

Operational Oversight : Manage the center's daily operations, including class schedules, staff supervision, and facility maintenance.

Relationship Building : Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with families to ensure their satisfaction and engagement. Maintain strong staff relations to build the Gym enrollment.

Strategic Development : Create and implement strategies to boost enrollment and retain currently enrolled families

Safety and Cleanliness : Ensure a clean, safe, and welcoming environment for children, families, and staff

Qualifications :

Childcare Experience : Proven experience working with young children in an organized play environment

Leadership Skills : Demonstrated leadership or management experience, with the ability to motivate and guide a team

Team-Oriented : Strong willingness to collaborate as a team player and contribute to a positive work environment

Effective Communication : Excellent communication skills to engage clearly with staff and guests

Physical Requirements : Ability to reach, bend, stoop, and lift up to 50 pounds regularly

Endurance : Capacity to stand and move for extended periods (up to 6 hours) while fulfilling job responsibilities
