We are looking for an enthusiastic and nurturing Gymnastics Instructor to join our team. In this role, you will lead engaging classes, camps, and birthday parties! You'll be working with children ages 4 months to 9 years old. Our programs focus on: movement, coordination, social skills, confidence, and teamwork in a fun and safe environment.

Job Summary
At My Gym, your role goes beyond teaching “Parent and Me” or Independent kid programs. It includes leading the most engaging classes around for children, allowing you to build meaningful relationships and invest in the youth of our community. As you develop your skills as a lead teacher, you’ll also gain valuable experience in our back-end systems, administration, sales, and training. We thrive in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment, making it an ideal setting for individuals with backgrounds in sports, kinesiology, physical fitness, early childhood education, gymnastics, dance, or martial arts.
Responsibilities
- Lead and assist age-appropriate gymnastics based classes, ensuring a positive experience for all participants
- Foster a fun and welcoming atmosphere that encourages engagement and participation
- Prioritize the safety of children while they learn and enjoy their activities
- Offer guidance and support to help children reach their developmental milestones
Qualifications
- Ready to be silly and perform for a crowd of kids and grownups to ensure class is always fun
- Proven experience working with young children in an organized play environment
- Strong team player with a dedicated work ethic
- Excellent communication skills to interact effectively with staff and guests
- Ability to reach, bend, stoop, and lift up to 50 pounds frequently
- Capacity to stand for extended periods (up to 6 hours)
- Able to effectively multitask
