Job Summary:
Swedish Medical Center - Issaquah Campus is seeking an experienced Cardiac Cath Lab Technician for a 13-week local contract position. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in Cardiac Cath Lab procedures and a minimum of 2 supervisory references covering at least 1 year (6 months for CNA candidates) of employment within the last three years in a comparable specialty/setting.
As a Cardiac Cath Lab Technician at Swedish Medical Center, you will play a critical role in assisting with diagnostic and interventional procedures. You’ll work in a collaborative environment to deliver the highest level of care to patients, while adhering to protocols and standards.
Responsibilities:
- Assist physicians in performing diagnostic and therapeutic cardiac procedures.
- Operate and maintain imaging equipment in the Cath Lab.
- Prepare patients for procedures and monitor their status throughout.
- Accurately document all procedures and maintain detailed patient records.
- Maintain safety and compliance with infection control standards.
Job Requirements:
- Experience: Previous experience in a Cardiac Cath Lab setting required.
- References: Minimum of 2 supervisory references covering 1 year (6 months for CNA’s) of employment in a comparable specialty/setting within the last three years.
- Floating: Must be willing to float to another unit within scope of practice if needed. Facilities are within a 40-mile radius or less. Transportation to the floated facility is the responsibility of the traveler. Refusal to float may result in assignment termination and/or forfeiture of guaranteed hours.
- Previous Providence Employees: Candidates who have been permanent employees of any Providence-affiliated facility must have been separated from the health system for at least 3 months before qualifying for a travel position.
- Additional: Strong communication skills and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
