Contract Length: 13-Week Local Contract
Pay Rate: $31.96 per hour

BLS - AHA (REQUIRED)

1 year of LVN / LPN - Medical Surgical experience required.

Job Description:

Rochester General Hospital is seeking a dedicated LVN / LPN for a Medical Surgical unit on a 13-week local contract. The position offers the opportunity to work in a fast-paced hospital environment with a focus on providing quality patient care. Ideal candidates will have an active New York State License (NY license in hand required) and be able to work night shifts.

Responsibilities:

• Provide direct patient care within the Medical Surgical unit.
• Monitor patient condition, vital signs, and assist with daily activities and treatment plans.
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians.
• Communicate effectively with patients, families, and the healthcare team.
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation of patient information.
• Respond to patient needs in a compassionate and professional manner.

Requirements:

• Active New York State LVN / LPN License (required).
• Previous experience in a Medical Surgical setting preferred.
• Ability to work night shifts (4x12-hour shifts, 19:00 - 07:00).
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a hospital environment.
