Location: Unity Hospital, 1555 Long Pond Rd, Rochester, NY 14626-4182
Shift: Monday-Friday, Four 10-hour shifts (07:00 AM - 05:30 PM)
Start Date: 03/17/2025
Contract Length: 13-Week Local Contract
Call Requirements: 8-10 shifts per month
Pay Rate: $74.12 per hour
BLS - AHA (REQUIRED)
2 years of Cath Lab/X-Ray Tech experience required.
Job Description:
Unity Hospital is seeking an experienced Radiology / Cardiology X-Ray Tech for a 13-week local contract. This position is within the Cath Lab and requires procedural experience. Ideal candidates will be ARRT-certified and have experience working in a Cardiac Cath Lab, with the ability to function in a surgical tech role. If you do not have extensive Cath or Interventional Radiology (IR) experience but are ARRT-certified and have exposure to the cardiac environment, we are still open to considering your application.
Responsibilities:
- Perform diagnostic imaging procedures within the Cath Lab environment, including fluoroscopy.
- Work alongside medical professionals in a procedural setting, assisting in the preparation and execution of cardiac-related procedures.
- Collaborate effectively with the medical team to ensure optimal patient care during procedures.
- Maintain high standards of safety and professionalism while working in a busy hospital environment.
- Follow hospital protocols and use Epic for charting patient information.
Requirements:
- ARRT Certification required.
- Procedural experience is required (Cath Lab or equivalent).
- Experience in a Cardiac Cath Lab setting preferred.
- Must be comfortable with fluoroscopy and working as part of a surgical team in the procedural area.
- Ability to work the specified shifts and meet call requirements (8-10 shifts/month).
