What You’ll Do
As our Nurse Practitioner Provider you’ll be the guide. Meeting, assessing and diagnosing patients in the health center, as well as prescribing patients with appropriate medication, health regimens and lifestyle adjustments that will contribute to their recovery, prevent future health issues and promote a healthier lifestyle. We keep caseloads manageable with 12-15 patients a day and no double bookings, you’ll have the time you need to focus on each individual as a person rather than a number.

Schedule
Monday - 7am-7pm
Wednesday - 7am-7pm
Thursday - 7am-7pm
Essential Responsibilities
- Perform physical examinations of patients, assessment and treatment of injuries or illnesses, including women’s health
- Order and interpret standard tests that will assist in diagnosing and treating patients
- Obtain, compile and record patient medical data, including health history, progress notes and results of physical examination
- Educate patients regarding their illness and treatment, including self-care, prevention, and health maintenance
- Document all assessments, actions, care and treatment responses, and communications in patient record in EMR
- Assist the medical staff with procedures and treatments
- Promote wellness educational programs
- Maintain patient confidence and ensure confidentiality of patient care information
Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor's or Master’s degree from an accredited college or university
- Graduate of an accredited APRN program approved by the Florida Board of Nursing
- 2 years of clinical experience as an APRN, preferably in primary or urgent care setting
- Current and unrestricted APRN license (Florida)
- Dispensing license (Florida) or willing to obtain one
- DEA license
- BLS Certification for Healthcare Providers
