**Family Practice Physician (MD/DO)**
Provider for Lecanto, FL in Citrus County
My Health Onsite operates employer-sponsored health and wellness centers. Our medical team builds strong relationships with patients by taking the time to care for them. Patients (ages 8 and up) have access to a range of medical services, including x-ray, onsite pharmacy, wellness services, and treatment for acute illnesses and chronic conditions.
Our relaxed pace allows physicians to see only 12-15 patients per day, eliminating concerns about insurance or billing. Prevention is our top priority, and we make it our mission to help patients achieve optimal health.
As a Family Practice Physician at My Health Onsite, you will be responsible for meeting with patients, assessing their needs, and diagnosing their conditions. You will also prescribe medication and develop personalized health plans to promote recovery, prevent future health issues, and empower patients to take control of their well-being.
**Schedule:** Monday - Friday, 7am - 5pm, with a 1-hour lunch break daily.
Responsibilities:
- Provide preventive, acute, and chronic care to patients
- Offer health services such as initial worker's compensation evaluations, occupational physicals, and screenings
- Conduct thorough histories and physical examinations, working with patients to develop effective treatment plans
- Prescribe and dispense medications, educate patients on medical issues as needed
- Serve as a supervising physician for mid-level practitioners, with specific duties outlined in a collaborative practice agreement
- Promote wellness educational programs to support patient health and well-being
- Maintain patient confidentiality and ensure the security of patient care information
Minimum Qualifications:
- Graduation from an accredited medical school
- Board Eligible status
- Current and unrestricted Florida medical license
- Dispensing license (Florida) or willingness to obtain one
- DEA license
- BLS Certification for Healthcare Providers
Preferred Skills:
- Experience in primary or urgent care settings
- Ability to perform GYN care and well women exams
